Tsu Soo Tan wins in random draw

Washington, DC. ActionBioscience.org, the educational website of The American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS), ran two online surveys, in English and Spanish, from mid-September to December 2004. Respondents had the option to enter a draw for a chance to win a digital camera or a one-year subscription to BioScience journal.

Randomly chosen, Tsu Soo Tan was the winner. Mr. Tan works with the Bioinformatics Group at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore (the institution’s website is http://www.nyp.edu.sg/). His prize preference was the BioScience subscription.

Published by AIBS, BioScience presents readers with timely and authoritative overviews of current research in biology, accompanied by essays and discussion sections on education, public policy, history, and the conceptual underpinnings of the biological sciences. A peer-reviewed, heavily cited, monthly journal, it offers content written and edited for accessibility to researchers, educators, and students alike. To read more about the journal, see http://www.aibs.org/bioscience/.
